Method & materials
Spools are cut and fitted to the isometric, welded by qualified procedures, and inspected before any line is closed. Radiography or other non-destructive examination is applied at the frequency the specification calls for, with repairs re-examined to the same standard.
Lines are flushed and hydrostatically tested in sections against a recorded pressure and hold time, so a failure is traced to a section rather than a system.
