Method & materials
Heavy lifts are planned before they are attempted: load, radius, crane configuration and ground bearing are established on paper and signed off, and the lift is executed against that plan.
Rotating equipment is aligned cold, checked hot, and recorded both times — an alignment that is not documented has not been done.
