Method & materials
In a classified area the equipment, the gland and the installation method all have to match the zone and gas group. An Ex-rated device installed with the wrong gland is not an Ex installation.
Every loop is checked end to end and recorded before energisation, so a fault found later is a change rather than an unknown.
